Derrick Metriyakool is a senior paralegal at Silicon Legal Strategy. He assists clients and the SLS team with incorporations, corporate reorganizations, private equity and debt financings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and equity plan administration.

Prior to joining SLS, Derrick was a Senior Legal Support Specialist at Charles Schwab in San Francisco where he worked on corporate governance matters. He has also worked as a Legal Project Assistant and Legal Administrative Assistant at Hanson Bridget LLP, and as a Research Associate at Glass Lewis and Co.

Derrick obtained his Paralegal Certificate with Highest Honors from San Francisco State University. He received his B.A. in Political Economy and South & Southeast Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of work, Derrick enjoys playing basketball, practicing gymnastics, traveling the world, and cooking Thai food.
