Kevin Morrissey is a partner at Silicon Legal Strategy.
With a deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, Kevin is a trusted advisor to both investors and high-growth companies. Kevin supports his technology company clients with day-to-day operations, advising on corporate governance and negotiating critical business agreements, always with a focus on mitigating risk and advancing client interests. Kevin’s practice includes guiding his company and investor clients through various stages of venture capital transactions, from early-stage funding to later rounds, negotiating key agreements and ensuring optimal outcomes.
For his later-stage clients, Kevin manages complex corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and business combinations. Kevin oversees due diligence, drafts acquisition agreements, and navigates regulatory requirements to close high-stakes deals.
Before joining SLS, Kevin worked at Perkins Coie LLP and SRI International.
Kevin received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with friends and family, wrestling his dog, and watching soccer.
